The goal of this internship project was to preserve a piece of institutional history. The client only had a photograph of an old, physical sign for the State Area Vocational-Technical School (SAVTS) and needed a clean, usable digital version for their archives. My task was to meticulously recreate the historical logo as a scalable vector graphic. By carefully tracing the original shapes and matching the typography in Adobe Illustrator, I was able to deliver a high-quality vector file that preserves the legacy of the original design for modern print and digital use.
